The 2021 Toyota Hilux is impressive, makes the Tacoma look like a Camry. :(

I've said it before I'll say it again. I'd look long and hard at a lowered, boosted type R Ridgeline. I think it'd be fun to play with.

White with brown leather. Manual I could take it or leave it. Fun for weekend stuff but my commute is 300 miles a week and not great driving roads. Having a proper dual clutch auto and paddle shifters/ sport+ mode would satisfy the itch. Kinda like what Benz got goin on with the E class wagons.

Our V70 was great for eating up miles and even better once we swapped out the worn suspension. The quality was just not there though.

Sorry man, the 2021 Hilux Diesel they are hoping to be around 10 seconds 0-60. The 2020 is over 12 seconds 0-60mph and 1/4 mile in 18.7 @ 74mph. When a 1996 4runner or Yaris Hybrid can smoke my 2021 Hilux... Just think about safely merging onto a highway and needing to get to 80mph and it takes you a 1/4 mile and you can call in your lunch order before you get to highway speed. Or you got your 7000lb boat/trailer and your kids in the truck and you can place the whole family's lunch order over the 1/2 mile it'll take you to get to 60mph. :anonymous:

It was mostly Big3 stuff in my area. So, the Splash was the ticket on the truck side. Shadows, Daytonas, and bottom feeder Eclipses were the cars that folks were targeting.

Been looking at the E400 wagons. I've always taken a liking to wagons. Every car I've ever owned was a hatch. My cousin had a turbo Passat Wagon. If I didn't need my truck I would be in a wagon. I don't understand why so many people prefer crossovers to wagons. The E400 wagons are sweet but after being in the Toyota camp the reliability concerns me. Oh, and I need a truck, unless I find out the tow capacity of the E400 and adopt a trailer. :threadjacked: :stayontopic:

Mostly the same here. We always try for hatches and wagons. After a try at the entry lux market, we decided to stay non-lux Japanese. For as long as we hang on to vehicles, reliability and reasonable prices are a bigger deal for us.

For us, no German stuff even if it was comparatively priced. Way too many issues.

And you measure the 0-60 time in minutes.
Why do you guys post shit you cannot even have?
It's like saying "Man, I wish I could go back to yesterday" or "Man, I wish I had wings like a bird."
Shit ain't gonna happen. And it's ugly to boot.

Definitely agree that it looks like a Ranger/Ridgeline hybrid, I prefer the looks of the Tacoma all the way.

I know a second Gen owner and he has a laundry list of complaints about the 3rd Gen.

The way the truck looks is not one of them.
