    I think the basic engine is fine. What isn't is the shitty tuning algorithms. There should NOT be such obvious power steps through the Rev range. My previous Mazda Skyactiv had Atkinson cycle and that thing was butter smooth.

    Also, at full throttle, you should get full power no matter what. As Orange Virus has stated and I have measured with an OBD device.....you can't get full throttle and power at most operating conditions. I don't mind the ECU trying to target efficient operating conditions at partial throttle.

    I agree with the WOT, but I honestly would like to see more response and more low rpm power.
