This job is occasionally getting me in a bad mood, the periodic micromanagement makes me insane, he's whining that 'he thought it should be further along', well, if he'd let me do my thing it would have been faster, he has no fucking idea how badly I want to finish this job.

Is that the homeowner or the general contractor? If he's both, no wonder you want to be gone.

I had a nutty guy hell bent on having NO ROOTS! on the surface of his lawn. I told him I could grind a few, but if I removed them all, it might kill the tree. I'd grind, he'd bitch, I'd grind some more, more bitching ... I finally told him we'd reached the limit of the work I'd bid on, handed him a can of marking paint, and told him I'd grind whatever he marked at my hourly rate. His tree died the next year and I got to finish the job.

That's the problem, I have no "PC" mode left, so I just shut me mouth till this job is finished

The guy is a former CFO and he's the client, I damn near walked off the job today, if he fired me I'd be relieved

I bought a new one. An echo 2 stroke at home depot. It's on sale 20$ off at 199$. Best trimmer I've ever had.
Labeled a gas can for it. It cut into my fence budget.

I picked up a Poulan with the attachment-changing capacity. Need to get the 2nd gas can for mixed. Haven't picked up any attachments yet, but good thing is that it's compatible with multiple brands apparently. I'm digging the blower one seriously...not doing the edger one, tilt the dang trimmer up and run it that way instead.

I had an Echo trimmer and blower for years, but finally went to Stihl when I couldn't find a local Echo shop. I'd like an gas edger, but I won't buy one until my corded electric one dies. I don't use my Husqvarna much today, but I ran it a lot cutting off stumps. Great saw.
