Nice trip. I've done similar trips over the years but never been to a single place you went. I've been to Yellowstone twice when my kids were young, but coming from GA we usually take a more southern loop. We spent some time in SW Utah 2 years ago and found it to be a pleasant surprise. My kids are grown and out of the house. My wife and I are planning a trip to Colorado in Oct. It will be a combo sight seeing and hunting trip. I plan to get there at least a week early and see some sights before hunting a week.

I'm actually ready to do something like that with my grand kids. The 2 oldest are 8 and 10. I'd like to take them in the next year or 2. The youngest is 4 and another is due in August. Probably wait about 5 years before taking the 2 younger ones. Not willing to do that with 4 kids at the same time.

Yep ! I plan on a National Park every year. Lucky enough to already go to Pearl Harbor. Hard to drive there. My next will be south West Arizona,New Mexico. . My dream is to drive from our house to Denali National Park in Alaska. That may be a trip I do without family.

Pike place market. It's worth a stop, he won't be too far from there when he's there to check out Safeco.

Parking somewhere near the light rail and taking it around is quite a bit more convenient so you dont have to pay to park or find a spot. Not sure how long you'll be there. Good luck on your trip!

ARB Bumper, SOS sliders, SOS rear bumper, SOS skid plate. OME Lift. Some other stuff.
Just be sure and pack a can of freak repellent when you go to Pikes Place Market, or anywhere in Seattle for that matter.

It's not that bad. Amazon has basically taken over. They've got 40 percent of all office space in downtown Seattle. It happened almost overnight. If anything ever changed with them, Seattle could be the next Detroit unfortunately. It's too much.

Anyone recommend a parking lot near the rail line. I’m staying in Bellevue and driving in everyday. Wanted to hit all the downtown stuff in one day and use the light rail to get er done

We fly in for Seahawks games on Sundays. So I'm always taking the light rail from the airport. I'm not exactly sure where the best place to park would be from Bellevue, but you're definitely staying in a good spot. Hopefully someone else will chime in, if not, I'm sure the front desk of your hotel will recommend a good place.

Bellevue is 8 1/2 Miles from downtown. I guess I’ll try parking on southwest side of Seattle since it’s a angels Vs mariners games when I’m there. I also heard gas is $4.28-4.79 per gallon. Pffff . Lake Tahoe California was $4.11-$4.20 a gallon. Wish I had Jerry cans. I was paying $2.98 in Dayton,Nevada
