Ah well you’ll still maybe only lose 1mpg which over the course of a year is only 44 gallons if you average about 15k miles a year. 1-2 mpgs is not a lot in the grand scheme.

Using my data from the first post since I don’t drive a lot the difference was 27 gallons which is less than a $50 difference over a year...

In my 3 most recent kits it appears they have gone back to the same seal as stock. Possibly buying them from the OEM supplier.

6 months stock tire size and you are in Colorado Springs right? I'm in Glenwood Springs

How was when driving in town? something short and slow... like a grocery run? Did it rev high in those situations, or shift down to a comfortable gear?

I am really tired of being crawling up a high mountain pass and having to downshift into 3rd just to and hold 50. TALK ABOUT REVS! If 5.29s make that stop I will be in heaven. Out here you're never driving on a flat road

I'm on solid 32s now, not 31.6, they are beefy... planning regear and next year moving to mild 33s, something I can keep on all year like wildpeaks...

Local driving it’s perfectly fine. The transmission adjusts to keep rpms low. It will definitely help with the passes that’s for sure.

Honestly I do most of my traffic passing on hills. You’ll still find tough mountain stretches that will force you to 4th but not often.

I applaud you bro. I think since the beginning of this thread I have seen you write this at least half a dozen times.

Doubtful. It's more likely that it'll be more than a 2 MPG loss. Your random numbers are completely irrelevant because it all depends on the type and speed and amount of driving you do, which obviously is different for everyone.

If your doing 5.29s. You most likely went bigger tires so you probably dont give a crap about mpgs anyway

His numbers aren't random. He posted actual mpg data earlier in this thread. You've just posted nothing but speculation.

What should I do here guys? I live here in the PNW, majority of driving is highway (70-85mph) and city during the week, obviously, we have pretty hilly terrain over here so mileage isnt great. I have a Pro with 285/75/16 KO2s on there and a Leer canopy. I don't plan on going with a lift or bigger than 33s (never say never though) but I will probably add some aluminum armor and aluminum front bumper to keep it light. I just ordered 4.88 from Nitro today as that's what was recommended but the worst feeling is knowing you should have done the bigger size. I already have OV Tune as well so that said, should I stick with the 4.88 or call them and say I want 5.29?

For you wanting to go fast. I’d say 4.88
