Want @Double Phister said. We are unfortunately not able to adjust the speedo. Use the tire tunes and edits to account for size and weight. :D

That was some strange artifact or something. The tire size only adjust the AT.

ECGS just takes feedback from customers. So their advice is typically CYA for them whether it’s real or not. We have reputable dealers not understand REM and cryo as well but just because you throw some gears in doesn’t mean you are the end all be all. Like all thing, take it with a grain of salt.

My truck governs out at 92mph same as it did stock with 5.29s and 35s

Your truck cut out at 92 stock?

    Sorry!

The easiest thing is to try the different tunes and see. No harm there.

Maybe some people don’t speed and therefore doesn’t happen to them

Hell man the highway speed limit in MT is 80 and until 1999 there was no posted speed limit. State Highway 130 in TX has a speed limit of 85 so yea technically you can stay within the speed limit on at least one US road and hit this faulty limiter.

And people who don’t go over would never experience the limiter and therefore report ‘no problem’ when maybe their regeared truck actually does have the problem. I go 80 all the time.

That’s a pretty small fraction of people who drive those roads at those speeds with all variables required.

Even on our road trip to MT and WY with posted speeds of 80 we cruised no more than 70 most of the time.

Oh 6th gear where have you been all your life. Put a few hours on the new gears today. Enjoyed how much time it spent in 5th and 6th. Mostly winding and hilly roads.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Changes things dramatically. Feels like the truck should have felt from the factory. The tune smooths things out even more. I was impressed with the gears, and even more so with the tune.
Hit up Rich @Stormpeacock he will hook up the tune for you bro.

I need to find someone in Colorado that can tune mine. Either that or buy the shit and do it myself. Most people seem to love their tunes.

There are a few folks offering tuning in the Colorado threads but I haven’t really been blown away by any tune yet.
