    It doesn't. Drive in 2wd for your daily commute and feel the heat on the diff. Then drive in 4wd for your commute. Huge difference in heat. The front diff wont spin in 2wd because one side of the spider gears isnt rotating.

    Or you can monitor the front diff temp with OBD fusion or any other similar app and Bluetooth device. Temp goes up in 4wd.

    I didnt know that there was a temp sensor in the front diff. Wheres it at?

    Dropped the truck off for 5.29s and a front ARB today. Shop kind of has me concerned after saying they have to re-install the air locker multiple times every now and then because it won't work right.

    Hope everything goes smooth and I get the truck back by the end of the week.

    King + Archive Relocation Wheeler's bumps +hydros
    Arb lockers had a common issue leaking due to faulty seals. ARB replaced the seals and stated that they fixed the production issue with the seals but there have been a few folks that have still had leaking issues here and there.

    Just make sure to contact ARB if you have any issues and hold onto receipts. Should be fine for the most part though.

    They may have the bulk head seal messed up.

    It measures oil temp, throws check engine light if temp gets too high.

    I don’t think so. Here is the reason for front diff sensor, to protect front differential from damage from high temps from use at high speed on dry pavement.
