OP, did you experience any additional noise with the new gears? I was told by a few cryo/rem outfits that additional gear noise is a common occurrence with treated gears

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I like that little rhyme you did there.
However may I suggest instead of “late”, it goes “And mo’ poweh won’t make you go insane!”

Does anyone know where nitro gears are made compared to g2, or motive gears?

Second question pertains to G2 gears- anyone have a bad Toyota experience with them? Just noticed them available in 5:29s for the 8 inch and 8.4 inch rear ends.

3rd Motive gears makes 5:29 also, and bad experiences?

I can get motive and g2 for half the cost of Nitros......

So I’ve got about 450 miles on the new gears and have not put it in 4 wheel drive yet... I’ve always been told to not engage on dry concrete but I don’t really have any unpaved roads near me.. will I be alright to just cruise around in 4H ?

A bunch a cool stickers, a bada ass MetalMiller Tx Longhorns grill emblem painted Hemi Orange, JBA long tube headers with o2 sims, Diff breather mod, Red LED interior lights, Fancy head unit that plays ipod n movies, Also DIY install factory stuff like, factory cruise control, factory intermittent wipers, OME nitro struts with 886x springs and toy tec top plate, JBA high caster UCA's for better alignmnet and dey beefier too, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs in da rear with the gear, U bolt flipper, Ivan Stewart TRD rims with 33" K Bro 2's, some bad ass weather tech floor liners so I don't muck up my interior, an ATO shackle flipper for mo travel in da rear wit the gear, also super shiny Fox 2.0 shocks back there too, all sorts of steal armor for bouncing off of the rocks like demello sliders, AP front skid, trans skid, n transfer skid, demello gas tank skid, and a tough as nails ARB bumper with warn 8k winch, I'm sure there's more
Long strait roads are best. Roads with light turns are acceptable. When making a left or right at an intersection, you may consider switching to 2wd before turning, then engaging 4wd once strait again. If you forget, it's not going to kill the truck. As for parking lots, those are too tight of turns and the drive line will bind.

Good advice. Gravel or dirt lots ok. In fact you really know your turning wheels will want to grip or slip.
