    Which style SD card do you have in your GoPro? When I record on 1080, the playback skips at best. When I put it down to 720, it is nice and smooth like it should be. I have a feeling that my SD card is to slow.

    the class rating is the biggest thing to look for. Class 10 is what you want. I swapped the SD cards in my gopro, phones, etc to class 10 and they read/write much better. i typically go with Sandisk.

    also check your FPS settings on the gopro.

    FPS was at 60 for both resolutions. I have a strong feeling that the card isn't a Class 10. I swear I had one though. Don't those have a slightly different badge or name on them?
