There are pretty close formulas available for Mustang to Dyno Jet power estimations. Dyno Dynamics are usually the lowest reading. Still worth it since you've done mods since your last dyno.

I am a single din kind of guy as well. Weighs less and doesn't need anything more. A guy made a run of 3 or 5 of those triple gauge pods, some year a ago. Carbon fiber. They were so nice. My only complaint is that they are so far out of the line of sight of the driver. Those would have to be something like temp gauges, for me.

Last time I weighed mine, it was 3800 even. Still need to get it lower though. If I could drop 400 or so pounds, that would be a very nice improvement!

Bad for numbers, PHENOMENAL for tuning. ;)

Yimi Sport only a few hours away in Santa Clarita has a Dynojet.

2 Paul's work there, the tuner and the owner. Both pretty knowledgable dudes. "Tuner Paul" has put excellent tunes on my friend's GTR and my 2 other buddies' STi's.

    http://yimisport.com/dyno/

...just putting it out there. :D

They're pretty busy this time of year with all the time attack series events, but I'm sure they could squeeze someone in for a simple dyno pull.

What's nice here in Cali is when there's a band of dyno's and tuner shops all within a radius of each other they will sometimes print out a secondary dyno readout for the customer with a correction factor applied to "kinda/sorta" compare their numbers to another brand of dyno.

Dyno Dynamics and Mustang dynos are the best of both worlds being that they feature a static load(the rollers) as well as a dynamic weight(vehicle weight set by user) & a second dynamic weight based on the drag of aerodynamics(I believe defined usually as "hp @ 50mph"). The beauty of all these combined, WHEN CALIBRATED CORRECTLY BY THE OPERATOR, let the tuner simulate as close a load a vehicle would encounter on the street. Again, what I typed in all caps is crucial.

Dynojets, usually read higher, but really only have the static load based off the weight of the rollers as a "load" to tune with. You can still tune very thoroughly on a DJ, but it's always recommended to confirm calibration thoroughly on the street, post-dyno tune.

Dynapaks, while giving the operator endless ways to dial in a load curve, is not that good at simulating real world street conditions. Not too keen on these kinds of dynos but I believe the static sweep rate for a defined rpm range is only able to apply load in a linear slope for a defined number of seconds. So for example if you have an 800whp car and a 150whp car----the 800whp car will be seeing a LOT more load due to the nature of the defined linear sloped static sweep rate for the user-inputted rpm range(say for example a pull from 2000rpm-6000rpm to take place over 11 seconds). Basically, the flaw is when you are out on the street: a 150whp car vs an 800whp car will basically see the same load(assuming they are the same car, same equipment). This is why sometimes it's normal to see ridiculously high torque readings from a turbocharged car.

For sheer bragging number rights, usually a Dynojet will work in someone's favor over most other brands. For tuning, I would prever a DDynamics/Mustang/SuperFlow chassis dyno. :)

I love the superflow, however at my place of work we have everything but a chassis dyno. My experience with a dyno dynamics was with my t444e at a diesel shop. I thought it was OK, didn't know about them being a heartbreaker till after the fact. It was extremely consistent.

VIS Hood, 1 piece aluminum drive shaft, 17 lbs Braille battery.....yeah, that's all I can remember right now. Lol. Can't say wheels and tires until I get new wheels. These are about 65 lbs each corner. :( Still lighter than the old set of 35's on ProComp wheels though.

***Edit*** Oh yeah. No front differential, and a lighter transmission (no transfer case), lighter BBK. BBK alone shaved 15-20 lbs. I'd have to look back to be sure.
