2 guys decided to try and kill the invisible badger on each others head/face.

then it went downhill from there and my throat got slammed into the back of 1 of their heads or shoulder (was a blur).

The urge to try the urd tcai is there.

I miss the sound, and MAYBE the initial cool down from a stop would help the blower..... But I can't say I get on the throttle very hard from a stop. When ya spin up to 40mph, there's rlly only so much u can do from a stop anyhow.

At about 40mph, the afe, and stocker pulls ambient anyhow.... Would I rlly see a benefit besides flexing my idle iat muscles?

Eh... I've seen too many people complain about the filter getting pretty wet in rainstorms and these are people from Arizona, Cali and Wyoming...

Bahahahaa, I was one.... Maybe in the wolfpack days, but I was one.

The intake would pull water thru the filter, regardless of the steel shield, it would hit the maf sensors hot wire and the truck would stumble.
Sucked for merging..... From 236hp to like 10hp in no time.

I'd hate to see that now!

Total seat eating moment for the butthole when ur merging in what used to be a great spot with plenty of room before that big rig.

And you want to put it back on why? Haha if you have the S/C on there it is going to suck even more water in:eek:

The one guy is the guy who workd for expedition something or other and he said he had his motor stall several different times and just got rid of it.

Mr.TRD lives near me and he had to basically do an open deck mod on his intake so it can get enough air, though the open deck portion is sucking from inside the engine bay. He has a snorkel on and there is a rubber section that connects the intake to the snorkel. The bone stock S/C has enough suction that it will pinch off that rubber section when he pins the throttle. If it can do that I can only imagine the amount of rain it could suck in...
