Hey guys, since a few of us missed out on the last group buy I decided to contact The Retrofit Source and they have agreed to work with us and do another group buy. In order for them to even give us the discount code we need to have 25 people who are ready to purchase.

List below your name and which HID kit you want, choices are either FX-R stage III, Mini H1, OR---the Mini D2S

I've been reading a pile of threads on retrofits, and it seems like the mini H1 was the way to go over the FX-R.

    But seriously, I'm so confused.

Same here that's why I'm concerned that he says the choices are either theFX-R or the mini D2S it makes it sound like we cannot get the mini H1 in this group buy

to clear this up here is what Andrew from TRS sent me

We can do it on the Mini D2S and the FX-R Stage III kits only--no Mini H1s!

    Do it up!

Wow! that's weak. Most of the people are interested in the H1's! I should've gotten in on the last 5 of them It just wasn't a top priority and funds were not appropriate until now. Now I don't care, Good Luck.

Put it this way. I would rather get less of a discount for the H1's the ones I and many others want to account for a greater deal for both parties involved.

they didn't say why. This is going to be my first set of HID's and i missed the last buy so im trying to set something rather than nothing up, if you don't want to get them then no one's twisting your arm...

    Incorrect...

    FX-R > Mini H1 > Mini D2S

The FX-R, Mini H1, and Mini D2S are the only practical retros for our trucks, though I do know a couple guys running the LS460s. The FX-R is the best ones for our setups, but requires some serious surgery upon the housing to make it fit. The Mini D2S and Mini H1 don't require any cutting. Of the Minis, the H1 is a better setup
