    A few bolts are different.
It may grow on me a little more once I get a winch bumper and rear bumper. They will be black also. No front/back shots at the moment, the truck is undergoing heart surgery at a different garage than my house.

hey man really enjoyed the build... i recently got a '87 4x4 and got a few parts off a guy, well turns out he has a solid front axle he said i can have to replace my IFS just come get it, it needs rebuilding but its free.99 so theres that...in your opinion do you think its worth getting and putting under my truck? its not going to be lifted or put on some crazy rock crawling trails mainly just get where i need to get and back and forth to work and Home Depot...i just want something reliable...

A solid axle swap is not cheap, doesn’t matter how you calculate it. If the axle is free definitely pick that up also. If you don’t use it you can sell it.

if the truck is going to be a grocery getter I would think twice before spending the thousands involved in the swap. Also, there is no way to do an SAS without lifting the truck.

Good thinking. It’s a lot to it. Pirate 4x4 has a Toyota bible that is a good read any day. There is tons of info there

Engine is sorted out and running very well.

Next incoming parts. Winch bumper, and Warn EVO 8s. The bumper is at my fabricator getting a few other plates welded in for the turn signals.

Still have to come up with a way to mount the winch control box.

Very clean build! I like what you did with the fill plate on your bumper. 88 was a great year!

This 88 is just passed 311,000 when I put the all new engine in there. I hope for another 300k.

Ohhh man that’s beautiful. I often wish for the extra seats. Your 4Runner May have even been the one that gave me the idea to paint the bumper like that. Believe I ran across it on Instagram one day?? I really liked how it looked, so here we are!
