Trying to stick to my word and post more photos.

Yesterday we went out to flag a polygon around a known rare plant. We are having a helicopter administer herbicide to treat weeds on this allotment and the flagging will let them know where to not spray. Grueling hike but a gorgeous day and a great backdrop.

Well, we are going to be owners of a 99 LX470. Stoked but this means BabyT won't be getting fixed right away. It'll give me some time to do it myself though.

Well we are moving forward on the LX470. This is the cleanest one I have seen. It was owned in Arizona most of its life so no rust. The guy I am buying it from got it for his wife but their kid is in a wheelchair and getting her in and out is too hard. He bought it with the stock suspension system not working and took it to cruiser outfitters to replace it with OME. They deleted the entire existing system as well. He went through and did all the required maintenance (timing belt, fluids, etc). It has 140xxx miles so plenty of life left with nothing major maintenance wise for awhile. We are going to get this and then sell the dodge because we hate it. Once my life calms down after the wedding I'll start pulling BT's engine.

The LX will remain pretty much as it is. We plan to get a rod holder for the top and the necessary protection to have dogs inside and that's it (floor mats, seat covers, etc). Just a reliable DD that can handle everything I have seen in this area. It will be perfect for haulin a raft to the river or enjoying a summer day exploring some Forest service roads.

It's crazy comfy. The 80 series was perfect in my opinion. This one is over the top. Im sure the mpg's will suck but totally worth it haha.

Gorgeous morning around the smoker today. I only have to cook 80 - 100lbs of pulled pork for the wedding in the next month.

I really love driving this truck around. I have new tires/wheels in the driveway, weather tech mats on the way and getting some seat covers ordered soon as I get some swatches in.

He's been better. Sam and Ash are still having issues and it has created tension throughout my small family :(. I think we are going to have to re-home Sam. Neither Ash or Sam is happy and that's not fair to either. This has been such a tough situation for us. I feel terrible about it but I don't know what else to do. I just wish life didn't have to be so tough.

One of my coworkers is going to take Sam for a few weeks soon and see if he is a good fit. He's a single guy that's loves to trail run and go on long hikes. I really think they will make a great team.

So, what engine should go in BabyT?

Asking for a friend that wants to go fast and start an outrageous (but not impossible) project to keep his mind busy.
