HAHA Dang work keeps getting into the way. I am booked until about 4pm damn. But I will get them taken and to you. Heck I can throw the slides in the mail to you also. Not sure how much that would cost but I bet it would not be much. Also I should have said also these slides came out of a computer environment. I believe they are rated for 150 pounds each. So not a lot of weight but I figured they would work. So you will have to do some adapting. I went to Home depot and Lowes and people even said harbor freight had slides. But those are all little household drawer slides. These are actually long slides. I know we measured them out and on my 4'6" drawer it would have been perfect. I plan on heading your way this summer some time. I haven't heard of many rides yet. I did put my name in the hat for the expedition portal ol farts ride that covers Idaho, Nevada, Utah I believe it is. That is like a 800 mile run over 8 or 9 days. And that is in June. Then also the Washington overland outing is in mid june. Crap summer is filling up already

100 miles a day. That's gonna be hard to take it all in! That's pretty awesome though.

I generally give a warning about a week in advance for summer trips. Most are just a weekend worth of romping around pretty basic trails. If no one comes then I will likely just set camp and chill out. I will probably try and do a week-ish fishing trip if I have the time but won't set dates until I get to talk to who ever my summer employer may be.

Monte normally plans out some more truck oriented small trips around may.

Ash's new collar. I made his first collar using 550 cord. He shouldn't get much bigger now so I am making him a 1.75'' wide collar using the same colors now that he is just about 1.

Overkill for him but it will be pretty cool when its all done. My roommates dog has a collar using the cobra d-ring clip and its awesome. Ill eventually make a leash to match it.

It should be a fun little project to pass some dead time and make my dog stylish

This is basically the same thing I am doing but with charcoal grey and blue cord.

Ok hopefully these all upload. I think you will be able to see the box in the front close to the cab that is the full width and about 18" long. So it is a nice storage area foe items you want to take along but not always need quick access to. As you can see in the pictures with the drawers pulled out they can hold a lot of stuff. The right drawer has a lot of weight in it at the moment with cahins and straps and snatch blocks and what ever else. Yes when both drawers are pulled out this far the whole storage box tilts up but as you can see it sits on the tailgate and stays in place. Last you can see the slides. In the picture I have them extended to 72 inches. I think that is a little much but if backed off to about 4 feet or so I know they will work good. Just let me know if your still interested. I have 4 on hand

Ok so I guess I should include the picture of the front of the box. I am sorry they are all so small. I am not sure what I am doing wrong but if you click on them they open full size

That's exactly what I want! Simple but effective. I could put the slides to use so I would be happy to take them :).

Do you know how much the wood cost?

ok they are yours. PM me your addy info and I will see what we can do to get these buggers shipped to you. Or we can work on a different way for you to get them if you want. I believe I have about $100 into this storage box. The most expensive piece was the 6 cans of Home Depot bed liner. But I would not go that route if I were you. Buy a can of the herculiner. Cheaper and better product. In the forward box picture you can see I used 1x2 for the frame. I glued it and clamped it then also added a ton of drywall screws to help hold it together. The hinge came from home depot and I believe was like $10 or so. Pretty simple. I am not much of a fab guy so as you can see it is a simple build

Sooo finally decided to start updating the op in this thread . I realized that I have probably done enough to the truck to actually attempt a proper build thread. I just tossed down the list of mods I could think of off the top of my head to get started. Ill be digging up pictures whenever I get some more free time.

Also, check out my review for the Seek Outside 4 man tipi if any of you are interested in it. I have got a few pm's and questions about it so I wanted to have a place to refer people. It's linked in my signature.
