First thing I check was for that little grill piece that fits. I honestly wouldn't complain . Just a reason to give the taco a facelift and do a 2012 conversion.

I guess I can show off some of the truck too

The rear bumper is a work in progress to say the least haha. The tires won't rub it when stuffed so I will probably just trim my fender flares to fit it.

The driver side won't sit as high as the passenger so I think I have to modify the brackets slightly to get it to fit how it should. I also fucked up the swing out...because that's how I roll. Hopefully I can get that situated and put on soon enough.

Man, i don't know what is better, the awesome countryside you get to wheel in or the great action shots of your truck with Ash peeking out the passenger window. Either way, def dig the reg cab build and the progress of it.

Haha! I think I would trade the country for my loyal companion but it is sure hard to beat the Wyoming landscape!

That's a good looking pup in your avatar! Is it a Pitt?

Yeah that's my buddy Roz. She was pit-mixed. I lost her last year to heart disease. Best dog I ever had.

You're right. Cherish them while they are here. My other two dogs go on every camping, offroading and road trip I go on in the Taco. And there's even room for my wife usually:D

Some photos from the weekend :). It was a good one.

People ask why I wanted a floorless tent. Well folks, here is your answer. Ash likes to chill out by laying in the water. He did this right before bed as well.

Ash is also a fan of the swing out. Now he can sit on the box and scout out some trails for me. Kinda shocked me when I looked back to see him sitting like that while I bombed down some dirt roads

I finally got him swimming! He has always been hesitant to chase a stick in the water but he seemed to enjoy it this trip

I decided to set the tent up in sand this time to see how it would hold up. It needed tightening but otherwise held up great. I also used a tarp as a ground cloth. Ash still made a mess but it was pretty easy to just shake it off.

I made some coffee in the morning. It was way to warm for the stove. I won't be using it anymore until next winter most likely. 40 some degrees is comfortable for me but that stove cooked the tent to probably 80ish degrees. It was nice to put some clothes on in the heat and then I went to the river to dip my head in the water. By time I got back the coffee was warm and I could let my hair dry.

    And now some truck porn...

Last but not least, fish! Ok, one. I don't want to upload photos of the same size fish . I didn't lay into any monsters but it was still great to get out and catch some!
