I bought Ash a rubber kong ball with a squeaker and that thing lasted a year of repeated squeaking and fetch. The only toy I got my money out of. It was also big enough I didn't have to worry about him choking.

Not very. I started on this adventure because buying a $15 -$20 toy was getting old. Anything under $15 was a cheap stuffed animal that lasted 5 minutes. While he can get a hole in the cordura, it takes some work to shred it completely. The last one I stuffed with an old dish towel and he slowly chews that as it comes out.

I have found the cordura to be great for abrasion but Ash can get through it quickly if he starts chewing. I ordered in a different material to see if it is more tear resistant.

The profit I make off these toys is put in a bank to go towards an industrial machine that could handle the amount of layers needed to create a super durable toy.

I'll support the cause if you want to swing one by some time. My older Cocker would probably dig it.

I'll drop one by! Should have the material for the 8 man tipi this weekend :woot:. If I can finish it, and find a buyer, then I should be able to purchase a used industrial machine off craigslist sometime in January.

Hey so I was talking with my dad about your truck and explained the oil issue. He said there could be an internal fracture in the block that you cant see. Said the only way to test is pressurizing the block oil valleys and plugging the holes. If you see a drop then that's your issue and the block is shot.

Mix up a bunch of jb weld, and coat the block in it, and let it dry. Crack fixed.

The thing is....you paid for a repaired product, which you still have not received. Bottom line: You still hold the cards and the business that is doing your work is bonded and insured and probably would like to stay in business. Hopefully it doesn't get ugly, but in the real world, if there is a problem with the components that make up the repaired part, they should have tested and inspected them prior to reconditioning them, and either deemed those components simply repairable or not. I personally have that exact business's person show me the pieces that have been inspected before I authorize any work to be done, but I've also gotten that way because I've had shady things happen with the same company in my younger days and I represent 3rd party customers who trust what I do. I simply do not take chances with other people's money, I'm not a lawyer and I don't own a casino. You are dealing directly with them and I hope that he is showing you on your parts of your truck where the problems are. If he is incompetent, then he needs to suck it up, file a claim with his insurance company, and buy you a new or reconditioned engine from a reputable source. If he does this, get your insurance company involved, after all, that's why you pay them premiums. They are big and can go after the little guy. Just my $0.02

I guess I have been hogging the photos of Ash all to myself. Haven't posted much of our adventures lately.

Quick question since you are a local on 35s, do you rub in the front of the front wheel well like below the battery location?
I am all over mine at bump and turn. I don't rub anywhere else and am trying to figure out if I want to cut and tub right there or just hammer or if different backspacing would make me miss entirely.

I don't think I rub there but I remember cutting a piece off the front. Pretty sure it was embossed with a Toyota logo. I may have took a hammer up front too.

    Are you in Laramie?

Cheyenne now. Was in laramie 2013-2014.
I think I should be able to get some of it with a hammer. Just not sure if I can get enough with the battery box being right there. Everyone seems worried about rubbing the cab mount or firewall and I'm rubbing the complete opposite area.
