Hey guys, I just want get some others insight on this. So, things I've done to possibly narrow down my issues.

    Replaced MAF sensor
    Replaced Oxygen sensors
Replaced intake manifold gaskets, as well as cleaned them
    Replaced Brake booster
    Replaced FVPS
    Replaced Fuel Injectors*

NOW I may I have finally found the culprit, but I'm not sure! The PCV valve and the PCV Valve hose are warn out and I'm not sure when they were last replaced by the prior owners.
Could this be why I'm still getting a fuel/air mixture ratio problem?

    Symptoms:
Engine light with code P0172, Code P1130
    Rough idle
Oil leak, too much pressure in the engine

New symptoms probably due to this:
Engine Knock due to carbon buildup now when accelerating
NOTE: I checked my spark plugs, all looked fine. It's a pressure, combustion issue.

    Please help, leave some insight!
    Thanks y'all!

If you don't know when the PCV valve & hose were last replaced, replace them, they're pretty cheap.

If that doesn't fix it, perhaps move on to checking the EGR valve for cleanliness & that it operates properly (electrical actuation test.)

Lots of info out there on the EGR subsystem, for example:

What O2 sensors did you use? Toyota original parts, or aftermarket? I've read that aftermarket O2 sensors may not work correctly.

Also check MAF (mass air flow) sensor for cleanliness; if you clean it be sure to use a MAF-specific cleaner spray. The sensor portion is pretty fragile & sensitive to damage.

I believe I used aftermarket o2 sensors. The MAF sensor looked pretty clean to me, it is fairly new. I may take a look at the EGR valve. I pretty confident that that could be clogged up as well.

    So what experienced and solved

-cleaned MAF….never had issue/code with the same
    -replaced coolant temp sensor
    -replaced front O2
    -have FP gauge 46lbs
-no noticeable header leaks (I didn’t take shield off)

prior to this CE lite, I replaced injectors with shitty $50 eBay ones.
Bc I just started getting this code immediately after eBay injector install…..
I sent my old OE leaking injectors to MotorWest…..installed new RM ones.
    No more P0172

So, I replaced my fuel injectors with EBAY ones as well, but I'm not too sure that's the issue because I still have the same codes going off, but I could be wrong.

    Yeah
    I was pretty pissed too
I should of listened to other seasoned members about the eBay crap injectors

    Good news
    -$125 shipped from motorwest
Like week or less (they are in CA)
-was the 2nd injector install only me took 45m

I’m just happy that code doesn’t pop after 15m of driving

Well, I'm glad it worked out for you. I'm just over it myself.

    I just bought:
    EGR Valve
    PCV Valve
    PCV Valve Hose
    Vacuum Solenoid Modulator

All of these look original, never replaced.
HOPEFULLY, with these new parts coming in then all I'll have to do is spray throttle body spray to clean out the inside head of the engine to remove the knocking.

    Hey middle

    Does this sound familiar…….
After the eBay injector install, taco ran much better, but noticeable hesitation from gas pedal when moving from dead stop. Like no response from throttle only during 1st few seconds when trying to pull away from stop sign

No, I don't have any hesitation going off from a dead stop. I only have noticed while accelerating from time to time that the engine gives a small "extra push". Was that happening to you before you swapped to the better fuel injectors?

These were what I bought to replace my old fuel injectors. These were apparently OEM, $33 upload_2024-3-9_19-27-35.png

Just to be clear, those are not original Toyota parts.

Using aftermarket parts isn't a ding on anyone's moral character but it may lead to tearing out any remaining bits of hair from scalp during an ongoing troubleshooting process.

Yes, authentic Toyota parts often cost double, even 3x what aftermarket parts cost. Frequently (though not always) that cost difference is justified by higher-quality materials and tighter-tolerance manufacturing.

Good news, #1 they were only $33 #2 I have no hair, so if things still go south I know that I'll need to buy the legitimate ones.

    nope
Only the dreaded ‘hot no start’ condition
    eBay ones fixed tht issue
    Then started throwing P0172…..consistently

I would stop firing the parts cannon, life is too expensive nowadays.

If you can read fuel trims, look for if it's rich off of idle or when driving.

With the amount of parts you're put on already you maybe have to backtrack on alot of those parts to get everything fully sorted out

All jokes aside, this is my first truck and I prefer learning how to DIY it. Yea, it can get costly, but that's what I get for investing into something that wasn't taken care of prior to me.
