Update on what I've been up to this summer. Drove from Missouri to Boise, Id. to help CREOfab build and test new products. Had an awesome 6 day camping trip through Colorado and Utah on the drive up!

First night in colorado was in Left Hand Canyon just north of Boulder. Super nice spot with the creek flowing very fast with all the runoff!

    IMG951035.jpg

The second night in CO I spent on top of Sugarloaf Mountain but left that view for myself.

    Third night in Colorado-
Grand Valley OHV. Grand Junction, CO.
    IMG951056.jpg
Ended my last night just outside Provo Utah in Diamond canyon if i remember correctly.

    IMG951064.jpg
This was a nice spot down about a 4ft embankment that seemed to have scared off any other campers. It led to this secluded spot surrounded on three sides by a small creek. Made for a great last night before getting into Boise.

Heres some of what I did in boise besides mountain bike

    Datin fab job shot 3 (1 of 1) (1).jpg

Heres the truck along with the very first CREOfab Chevy Colorado bed rack. Built for a whitewater kayaking guide/photographer, he puts up to 6 kayaks on top and loads his cargo shelf with the rest of his gear.

Not been camping a whole lot in my senior year but made it to bentonville for a long weekend to get rained on the whole time. Biking trails were still great so made for a good weekend.

Thought the truck looked nice enough for a picture at the gas station one night.
Gives a nice look at the prototype CREOfab bumper. Few kinks to work out but works perfectly in the mean time and will be perfect when we get the v2 stamped out. Looking for a winch atm. Liking the smitybuilt x20

Finally we got some nice snow last week for once.

Few more from this summer out west

One of my favorite nights camping at hattie lake. 7400ft beach camping with mountains in the distance is tough to beat

    IMG_20181116_222218_831.jpg

Also spent a weekend in Stanley Id with my brother exploring around the endless dirt roads up there. Very cool spot forsure

Throwback two years ago to when I did this, id recommend testing the depth before taking your bald tires back to the hard dirt trails haha

Should I spend my tax return on a winch and save the rest for post graduation or spend it all on a locker... decisions decisions

So I moved back to Idaho after graduating this spring here are a few pics from the trip and since then.

First night from mo to boise i stopped at flagler reservoir about 2 hours east of denver. Not the best spot ive ever stayed but for 5 mins off the highway it wasnt bad at all. My cat enjoyed the view from the top of the kayak.
    20190609_195541.jpg

Next night was in the western side if wyoming on what i think was horseshoe loop. Pretty awesome spot, you could see over 100 miles any direction just a tad windy up on top.
    20190611_090018.jpg

Made it to boise in 3 days which kinda sucked but its good to be here for good. This past weekend i went up to idaho city for a quick campout. Found a nice spot tucked on top of a mountain for the night.

Not really tacoma related but my brother and I have started our own offroad accessory company named CREOfab (insta: @creofabusa). We just completed our first prototype with our new manufacturer and will be releasing our website and the rest of our products (Tacoma, Tundra, GM lines) over time.

    And here it is --

CREOfab Jeep JT Gladiator Ultimate Modular Bedrack

    20191114_141919.jpg
    20191108_121117.jpg

This bedrack design is industry leading in both form and function. Designed by the creator of the original modular bed rack for Tacoma's (original AP modular rack) this is the culmination of all the lessons learned so far in building and using modular bed racks.

This rack features an incorporated ladder making entry into the hardshell tent quick and easy. It also has two styles of accessory mounts, one for mounting on the outside of the rack and one for the inside.

While this Jeep Rack is the first of our products we have been prepping all of our other products for Toyotas for release in the near future!!

Been loving life out here in Idaho this past year. Mostly fishing and hiking but a few truck things happen here and there.

Got new tires this week, 295/75r16 bfg ko2. Good to be on an at after years of rumbling around on mts haha. They ride super smooth and quiet which is a great change.

Bumping up from a narrow 31 to a fat 33 means the body chop needed to happen.

Also smashed the pinch weld back and trimmed the flares a bit. We will see how much more it needs with a bit of dirt testing.

Spent a week in the mountains looking for elk, didn't see to many and couldn't punch the tag but still an unbeatable experience.

Well finally decided it was time to replace the blown front coilovers..

Fox 2.5 Performance Elite Coilovers from @AccuTune Offroad along with some JBA uppers.

    The old...
    20220528_141325.jpg

    The new...
    20220518_200422.jpg 20220527_202737.jpg
    20220528_202650.jpg 20220528_222828.jpg

Getting the 10 year old coilovers out was a blast... had to cut out both lower shock bolts that seized to the bushing sleeve and had a few bolts in the top hat spin on me. Luckily once those were out installing the new ones went super smooth.

Now that the front is all shiny and new I think its time for the back to get some love.
    20220526_204530.jpg
BAMF shock relocation and replacement hangers to be paired with some 12" Foxes I need to order from Accutune. Stay tuned...
