The Barney Riley Trail run November 2010

Well I know that Seth is riding with me, which is better for everyone involved cause we know what happens when he takes his pre-runner on the trails.

 

Man he needs to get the Scout up and going.

 

Seth almost got onto the trail to start wheeling.

 

Very true. I also messaged TRDMedic to get him to go in his newish 4-runner, but have not heard back.

 

is Jason still coming i haven't herd anything from him.

 

No idea. He wasn't sure, he said he had no money left after getting home from Hawaii.

 

went a little overboard with spending but ill probably tag along although i really am not looking forward to the 4+ hour drive.

 

Tell me about it I just got back from an 11 day trip to Montreal and New York and I'm broke good thing pay day is the 12th.

I'm going to bring the BBQ and cook up some links or something so if anyone want's to bring some chips or drinks that would be cool but the links are on me so don't worry about bringing lunch.

 

Sounds good. I'll bring some extra food and drinks.

Dude im lazy, i really don't want to get up earlier than 5:30. So i'd say leave our place by 6... which would put kevin and i in sac around 8 or earlier. I'd say we should stop off at pit school road exit in dixion. They have a bunch of food and places to get stuff for lunch and gas.

Thoughts?

 

Its fine, a little stiff before you add an aftermarket bumper. But really not that noticeable. Its a truck, never going to ride like a car. Only takes a week to get use to it - then you never know the difference

So far ive been really happy

 

Im going to have to see if i get my new springs by this. If i do im down. Just now comfortable being offroad with these hard a concrete springs.

 

8:00 sounds good to me. I will have the BBQ and some meat for everyone so don't worry about buying any thing like that. I'm thinking of doing BBQ'd chicken sandwiches how does that sound to you guys?

 

This trail is not that crazy.

 

I know, but these springs are beyond stiff. They were built as load bearing springs, I had 1000lbs of livestock feed in the bed of my truck one day and it didnt sag an inch.
