I’ve had a squeak at idle for about a week. Was able to isolated it to the clutch fork. After removing rubber boot from the bell housing, noticed the absence of lubrication. With a couple dabs of lithium grease the squeaking is gone!

Got some work done on the bumper rebuild. Currently in tear down. Bumper is off removed the winch, cut off the tubing. Started cutting off the winch mount and my grinder turned into a smoke machine and died.

Basically I’ll be building off the frame mount again but moving the winch about and I forward.

Got some material for the satoshi, and the holes on both sides have been expoxied. Just sanding down (taking forever)

I can’t guarantee a knock off, might throw a twist on it. Not to sure at the moment. I do like the way they compliment the 3rd gens. I’ll get a better idea once I start building.

    Bumper 2.0 begins

1st had to cut up the older bumper down to the mounting bracket which took forever.

    Did some CAD work(yes cardboard)

and started the putting a few things together

Just went through the build. Great work sorry to hear about that accident but glad things worked out for the best. I know that area as well. I actually think I might have spotted you one morning a couple months back on Central Expressway. I was in a silver 2nd gen with roof rack, projectors and satoshi. I followed the truck that I believe was you for a while. Sweet work, keep it up bud!

Made more progress on the bumper, added some gussets, plating and drilled hole pattern for the winch. Side note, thinking about going synthetic line for the winch

Also guna take my time and add some little details, cut outs and a hoop. Last bumper was simple in terms of design so just looking to switch things up.

Right on! Synthetic is the way to go.

Assuming you're planning on relocating the contactor box? where to?
