Looking good. Dope that you fabbed it all yourself. I take pride of installing everything myself, but welding beyond my CMC is past my abilities.

    So, what's next?

Just got back from a quick trip up 108 and Yosemite, tried to catch 2020 Firefall. I mention tried because an actual Firefall requires Horse tail falls to have water. It had run dry February 14th and peak viewing was 17-25ish.

Yosemite campsite at Upper Falls campground, so many RVs. All you could hear at night was the generators turn on and off.

The best thing you can do for a DSLR is get better lenses/glass. You'd be surprised how much of a difference it makes over the kit lenses.
Also if you stick with Cannon, you can use lenses you buy on all their DSLR's.

Nice, that's a good camera. I've always been partial to cannons. I don't know much about cameras or photography. I do like to take photos though. My neighbor teaches photography at a community college in Santa Cruz..I think. Gotta pick her brain. Or take one of her classes...or any class.

It came with two lenses, just need to figure how to use them ahahah. Thanks for the info

I know nuthin either. But I’m running out today things to fab and can transition to photography to fill the void. Having an actual camera in my hand changes the way I look at things for sure because you have to consider so many factors. Classes are always good, I say go for it.

yeah, when I had an actual camera, mostly before cell phone cameras, I took tens of thousands of photos.
When I move to CA from CT I took 2 months, drove 10,000 miles and took 4,000 photos.
