You do have a good point, the proposed mount setup currently works with my gear, but if I get a fridge or change something up, I might have issues. On the sides of the rack, are Ammo boxes. Which are great but will interfer with the high lift if mounted on the side.

My main requirement for mounting the high lift is easy accessibility. I’ll kick some ideas around. I don’t like the current location either but it works without further modifications.

For the rear shock relocation, I’m just trying to figure out what is right for my set up and how I drive.

If I come up with some questions I’ll be sure to reach out.

So getting used to this no school thing and work has a nice setup where I get every other Friday off(3 day weekend!) that said I have July 5th off so I’ll get a 4 day weekend. So I’m starting to plan a trip out to the eastern sierras, specifically the monolake area.

Places/trails I have been planning to hit:
    - Bodie
    - Copper Mountain
    - Laurel Lakes
    - Mono Lake
    - Kavanaugh Ridge
    - hot springs
    - Devils Postpile

Trying to keep the trails easy as I will be solo and with be with the fiancé and pup, anyone have any recommendations?

Tent is back on the truck, starting to prep for the trip.

Pick up a water-port but it came missing a hose, so I’ll have to throw one together and find a decent mounting location.

Hit up the eastern Sierras with the fiancé over 4th of July weekend. Just explored a area around Bridgeport, Mammoth and Convict Lake. Need to go back!

So more accessories/camp gear. Not sure if I mentioned it but recently picked up a water port and used it on the trip. It worked out great! Love that it can get pressurized by the garden hose.

One thing that would have been nice on the recent trip was a table. So been searching CL and found this gem
