Starting to like the design, still needs a little plating. Picture has a bad angle, but I'm stoked everything the straight, even and centeredIMG_0110.jpg

Removed bumper mounts from the fenders. That was fun, had to remove battery for the driver side and air box from passenger, also removed windsheild wiper fuild, and painted

    That looks awesome!

Are you going to put D-rings where the bumper horns stick out?

Thought about it, but playing with the idea of removing the horns and adding D ring mounts to the bumper mount.
Reason being, I'd rather have stress be applied to all the bolts holding the mount than direct stress on one side of the frame

Got a fair lead, and will be mounting that soon. I'm gunna wait on the winch because I'd rather purchase leaf springs and all the hardware goodies for the rear suspension. So lift coming soon! Fingers crossed, should throw in a order to HeadStrong Off-Road Friday

Edit: Postponed suspension purchase till after rear bumper is built

Wow, this is going to look amazing. What size tires did you end up with?

@HenryG 285/75/16's so close to a 33. So if my research is correct, with the f5's having a zero offset everything should fit with the lift with little rubbing at full lock.

Alignment is getting done! Overall I'm stoked!! So much smoother! I do rub a bit, but that was expected. Still have to make a few adjustments.

    Looking beast!

I’m planning for a smilarly boxrocket inspired rear bumper next spring. Did you bend the tube to 90*?

I was also a little lost looking at your pictures and description of the rear bumper mounts. I love the idea of reusing / reinforcing the stock mounts. Precision is hard for me, so having a template (stock mounts)is useful (necessary).

You used square tubing for the reinforcement? And it tucks into the main bumper tube?
