Now since there's been some people who installed the alignment kit, are there any reports of whether chain shops will do the alignment? I agree with prior comments that small shops or off-road shops are probably the best bet, but I've had a lifetime alignment through Firestone that has really been a money saver through the years, especially when I replace some front-end parts myself and then need to have the alignment rechecked. I know they don't like to deal with unusual stuff for various business and insurance reasons. Last time they told me one of the alignment cams is not moving but it was close enough to specs to leave it, so either I go with this kit or just stick to stock.

I think it still comes down to what techs are working and how they feel about it. I'm positive they will adjust the toe without issue (which is mostly what needs to be adjusted when using our pre-settings). We had 1 customer where the alignment shop marked the correct cam position, had the customer make the adjustments at home, then had them bring it back for a final toe adjustment.

Ive been running them for a while now and did my own alignment. I need to go back in and play with the castor, I was ~1 deg off across the two sides and thought it was close enough. But It does slightly pull to one side now.

Count me in for the giveaway. Wish I had seen these a couple weeks ago. I just replaced my LCA's and did all the work already.

Little update, after starting production on the 2nd gen kits we discovered the 2nd gen and 1st gen Octagons are exactly the same size! I didn't even realize it when cadding up the new kit, we only realized after we received the laser cut parts. So because of this, and to keep confusion to a minimum, we are going to start supplying the slightly smaller 3nd gen Cam Tab plates and stop cutting the original. Here is a comparison between the 2 for reference:

    Old:
    3G.jpg

    New
    4G.jpg

Really the only difference is the corners on the bottom are cut in a little more and the key location moved up. The octagons will remain unchanged.
Just wanted to throw this out there in case anyone is confused why the newer kits look different then the older ones.

    Exciting update!!

TEQ Customs (the custom headlight/grille maker) will be stocking and selling our alignment kits!! They will have some in stock in their show room and up for sale on their website. I couldn't be more stoked, it's truly exciting to see our little garage company start to grow.

I’m about to do some front end work (CV axles, LBJs) and was wondering if I should install a set of these while I have the truck apart. I think I need an alignment anyway (pulls to the right) and the independent shop I use would have no issue with these being non-stock. I’m sure they’d even install the kit if I asked them to do that. Does it make sense to do this now?

Yes 100%! If you wait to do it later you'll have to pull the steering rack off again. You'll basically be doing all that work twice + another alignment.
