I think I've gained weight just from looking at the images people keep posting..

 

The bacon cheese burger on the doughnut looks pretty good. May have to add that to the arsenal.

 

Calories are for women to worry about. I'm no model but I could give 2 shits about trying something like that lol. Just not every day.

10 Bucks says if you ate that donut burger you would be giving 2 shits within the hour!! haha

 

Hahaha, maybe but well worth it.

 

So, I've been in California for the past week on vacation and found a few things worthy of reviving this thread.

For starters, I found this bad ass 1st gen long travel tacoma in Petaluma where we were staying.


I found this at the Castello di Amorosa winery in Napa Valley and thought it was cool enough to warrant a picture.


Then this was found on the Pier 39 in San Francisco


These were from a bakery in San Jose...yes, beer and bacon cup cakes. OMFG.




These were from my visit to the Lagunitas brewery in Petaluma. Pretty crazy place with live music, great food and enough beer to go to your happy place.




And lastly from my drive through Bodega Bay. When in Rome...

 

So much want. And that 1st gen is pretty alright too.

 

Nice, revival worthy! You should have bought us all a piece of that taffy. Made my mouth water, along with the cup cakes.

My wife made one of my favorite meals tonight... Chicken Bacon Ranch pasta. Tons of chicken, tons more bacon. It's amazing.

 

I made my own recipe BBQ bacon meatballs, Jamaican Jerk hot wings, and bacon Tater skins tonight for opening day of College Football. Served with a few Sweetwater IPAs of course. LUV Bacon - Bacon makes it ALL better!

 

Bacon and football... nothing better. I'm so happy college football season is back upon us, best time of the year

 

Where are you out of? I'm from Santa Rosa, bout 20-30 minutes north of Petaluma.

In other news, I just moved to college (Westminster College, SLC) a couple weeks ago. And oh my god-the food here is amazing. I've heard the normal college food stereotypes but ours is catered by this company that has all natural/organic/local stuff. The bacon-absolutely killer. The grill makes one sandwich that's fried chicken (that they make right there in front of you), bacon, and whatever cheese/etc you want. Some delicious shit.

 

Yeah, I SO need to get back home to the Bay Area. Love the East Coast, but as Dorothy said, "There's no place like home."

 

I posted this in the smoker thread but the bacon thread needs some love too.
