Will do! I was confused at first about the JBA box, wondering if I had done some drunk shopping or something.

I mean I could use some new ones. My SPC UCAs have seen better days. I need to not spend money for a while, though. We just bought another whippet, and those darn dogs are not cheap.

It seems like a bad time to be building PC stuffs. Prices seem to be really high for certain components right now. I feel like I paid a premium for 64gb of RAM recently. And friggin video cards are outrageous.

You spec'd things out yet? Curious what a pcpartpicker link would look like. This is my updated build, started in 2018. Graphics, RAM, and storage have been upgraded since 2018. I can't throw anything at this computer that it wont handle, but I'm starting to get the itch to build a new one anyway.

My kids got a pair of the Oculus Quest 2 for Christmas for VR. I can't do it, myself. Gives me vertigo. They love the shit out of them, though.

Bruh do not get them full body! It cost a lot and it’s a pain in the ass to make it work with a quest 2 I think my end cost was 700 for the full body tracking stuff and I even went cheaper with the trackers and base stations lol

It cost me $800 for them to be able to pay Beat Saber... That's a lot of dang truck mods.

Joking aside, I do want to get them setup so they can play Minecraft on the Oculus. I've seen that it is possible, but haven't tried yet.

the 700 is only my fbt not including my headset lol

Yes it is possible if you have a cable to link it to a computer and you need a software and a specific update to play it. It’s a lot of fun but I’d have to go through and figure it out again

Kinda pissed... I made a reservation at Homewood Suites on Dec 18th for a one-night stay on Dec 19th so I could visit my surgeon in Greenville. I called to cancel the reservation the same night after learning we would not be able to make the trip until the following Monday (medical issues). I was informed that I would have to have cancelled the reservation 48 hours in advance for a refund, which would have been impossible since I had only just made the reservation. I was literally told by a manager at the hotel that I should have read the fine print on their website before I booked the room when I asked for a refund. It feels like a bad joke that this is an acceptable practice. I'm out $226 for this, which isn't a huge sum of money, but I'm not fond of getting bent over without a reach-around.

This is the fine print from what I can find...

Cancellation policies may vary depending on the rate and dates of your reservation. Please refer to your reservation confirmation to verify your cancellation policy. If you need further assistance, call the hotel directly or contactcustomer service. Alternatively, you can cancel yourreservation online.

How TF can I refer to the fine print to verify the cancellation policy without a reservation confirmation?

Not a truck mod, but hopefully it will turn into a life mod. Picked it up used but like new today.
