I haven't tried that, but IMO VT has the some of the best beer in the country, even besides heady topper. You should take a ride out to treehouse, i have heard great things and it isn't to far of a drive for you.

Anybody notice that about 10 years ago, the most popular style of beer was amber, and now people are all about IPA? Of course 10 years ago, hard lemonades (like Mikes) were the big thing in "bitch beers", and that has now moved to hard ciders (like Angry Orchard). Does this mean that porters and stouts will be big things in the next few years as well?

Shrug. I'd be down with that. I love a good IPA, but Stouts and Porters are my favorites. The best beers are the ones you can't shine a flashlight thru.

    That'd be a good dog.

That would make sense; but right now it looks like sours, rye, and barleywines are picking up in popularity.

My favorite beer in the hot summer months is Brooklyn Summer ale, freezing cold in a can. Theyre not for an IPA lover but they have a pure crisp clean taste that is perfect for hot summer days. I got all my friends hooked on them

I have a birthday card on my fridge that says "teaching your dog to fetch a beer from your fridge is smart" then on the inside, "teaching your dog to fetch a beer from the neighbor's fridge is genius"

Who has the best beer selection here? I need you to be my neighbor so I can work on training all 3 of my dogs.

A proper dark beer may require chewing a little. I would rather go from amber through stout than IPA.

I have a feeling that IPAs are still on the rise, and won't move over for another style for a few years yet.

thanks for the tip on the treehouse, I will definitely have to try it out..

I have to say being still relatively new to the New England area it has been great discovering all the local beers made out here...best part is finding them at all the BBQ joints in VT and NH...:D

This, for me it is sours. Just started drinking them and they are definetly becoming more popular.

Sounds like you need to check out prohibtion pig in VT if you haven't already. It seems like THE place for craft beer and BBQ.

Got your package, Evan. Everything survived, but now I'm faced with your dilemma of hiding them from myself and saving them or sticking them in the fridge and enjoying them, haha!
Thanks muchly; there was more there than I'd expected.

Just finished my keg of Saison, I have a belgian white and cider still fermenting. Think I will brew a New Zealand Hopped IPA in the next few weeks.
