Made it to Amsterdam. Stopped off at Brouwerij ‘t IJ. Not the best beer I’ve had but had a great time!

Actually I’m driving to Waterbury VT over the July 4th holiday for a few days before heading to Maine so yes I can get it. PM me to discusss. Only thing is Alchemist beer isn’t pasteurized so it has to stay cold... and we’re like 3000 miles apart.

 It’s fine. Know how I know? Because it’s been shipped to me multiple times. And I’ve had it when they distrod some out here. Tasted the same every time.

It’s good, don’t really know how to describe it, kinda sip of sunshine with a tripel/ Belgian flare.

    Homebrew cyser circa 2015.

Flat but pretty ok. Must have had a bad bottle cap seal.

After the tour, I got a couple tasters. First was 18 month old lambic right out of the barrel. 2nd was their Gueze, which is the following pic.
    4CBA65EB-4F96-4220-B4AA-0F3FB0D13E7C.jpg

Then sat down with other visitors and shared some bottles.

That wasn’t enough, so I bought another.

What a trip! So worth it!!!

If you have any opportunity to go, then I highly recommend it. Aside from great beer, the brewery is a step back in time.
