Spent the last day of our trip roaming Munich's Altstadt. Grabbed a couple Lowenbrau darks at Franziskaner while my daughter and her boyfriend checked out the Residenz Museum...

    20181002_124355.jpg

Then grabbed a bitter pils at Ayinger...

    20181002_155657.jpg

And an Augustiner Dunkel with dinner...

Had it in Israel. You mentioned DFAC, so I'm fairly certain that's not the part of the Middle East you're headed to, but just wanted to throw it out there that there are some decent beers.
Also, have you hit Deschutes yet?

    Wrong Portland... Portland, Maine.

But yes, wrong part. I can't complain bc I at least can drink but it's all macros from US and Europe so Michelob, Corona, Heineken, Guinness, Stella, etc.

Currently have that on tap at the house. First night was SO GOOD...next morning, not so much. Have to remind myself to sit back, relax, and savor these moments:rofl:

    Aha! Yeah, too many Portlands!
Lucky that you can drink! At least you have access to Guinness. I'd personally be quite parched in a land full of lagers.

It's pretty good, and not too rich. The maple is subtle.

I like a good pumpkin ale this time of year. I usually buy and try new ones when I see them. My favorite is Shipyard Pumpkin Head.
This one was really good, glad I got a six pack.
