Pretty typical response. Not much they can really say or do. Kudos for them for reinstating the older employees with their original, higher wages. I figured their wages were in accordance with any other brewery/restaurant though (didn't realize it was $3-5 an hour though, hot damn).

Still curious about the tequila slushy thing though. They did address the "trub kegs" on an IG or other social media forum of sorts though.

Here is the kit (LINK) I plan on buying in the spring time. This is the ideal Buy Once Cry Once system. In the process of turning half of my garage into a home brewery. Got a friend/business partner that is going in 50/50 with me on this system in hops of starting a small brewery in town.

Hot damn. We definitely want to buy a nice kit, but we’re not at the $7300 for a brewing setup price range haha. That setup looks super bad ass though. Wish I could afford something like that.

Ya, because monkish actually used to make really good fucking beer. At most they would only ever have 1 IPA on tap. All they did was Belgians and sours, and they were damn good. Then they went down the hazebro path and now that’s all they make. They don’t make anything like they used to. It’s a damn shame.

I’m with you there bro. All iwant is to begin a hobby and start from there. If I can brew like a five ten gal batch.
If I told my wife I spent $3000 on a still,
It would be a good way to end up on the couch for a very long time. Until she starts drinking my beer

I’m lucky in that my girlfriend loves beer too and wants to brew. So we will split the cost of everything. She gets 20% off at a homebrew store so we will definitely be buying a decent setup. But not that 7k setup haha. I’m sure we’ll probablt spend close to a grand though

I might be a tad bit biased, but I believe North Carolina brews some damn good beer. Enjoying a sixer of this Scotch Ale on my one day off this week. Cheers!

They make the same exact hazy ipa and re label it and then charge $22 for a 4 pack. Fuck them.

Who ever made 4 packs also can go fuck themselves. I want 6 packs back. #bringbackthesixpack

I'm over the 4 pack. I'd rather pay the price for a 6 pack of 12oz than a full pint. Sometimes I want a beer, but not a whole pint, ya know? That's why I love Sierra Nevada haha.

I started brewing on a small ass Mr. Beer kit back when I was 20 and gradually moved on to Extract and All-Grain now doing 5-10 gallon batches. I think now I am ready to make a big ass step forward in brewing. I've been saving a portion of each commission check for a while plus my best friend is going in with me so its not all that bad in the long run. "If" we do get lucky and start a brewery this system will be used as a small batch/experiment system of half barrel brews.
