    Christmas lunch with the GF’s family yesterday... 15 min from Cherry Street Brewing led to an impromptu stout tasting. Plus I had to grab a little something for @uhplifted ...

    Dessert stout/barleywine flight after dinner... Everything was really really good except for the Shirewood barleywine, tasted like straight bourbon.

    The 12.12.12 is their 6th anniversary brew. 12 different hops, 12 different malts, aged for 12 months in 4 Roses barrels... Freaking delicious! They also did a batch in Elijah Craig barrels and Heaven Hill as well. Only tried the 4 Roses... But was told each took a little different character from the different barrels, and all were really good.

    The other 3 stouts were really good as well, but I think my nod went to the Sweet Leilani... Coconut, coffee, and vanilla in Buffalo Trace barrels.

    As for tonight, had to celebrate finally getting @Dgibson529 ‘s Beermas presents ready for the mail with a little 2018 KBS.

    Got this from my Tacoma World Secret Santa
    Iron Horse Brewery
    quilters Irish death
    Dark Ale
    7.8% abv

    Not very bold for a dark ale. Kind of watery but not in a bad way, just not thick and heavy. Refreshing to drink. Sweet at first with citrus tang at the end. I like it. Easy to drink.
    On a 1-10 scale I give it a 7
