    20190109_163736.jpg had this one tonight, strange sour beer taste like a peice of lemon with sakt on it with a aftertaste if bread or cereal, i really liked it. Starting to like sour beers

    So...super thin is kind of the point of the style. Very dry, light and then they hop it up with different kind of hops.

    I liked it, but didn’t taste the “crumble”. The blueberry is there, but in a softer role than I expected. I like saison/farmhouse so wanted/expected more sour note. I have another I just got from the series that I think is a tangerine sour.

    @BookieBob - you poured this one yet? Second opine...?

    @NoOne . The crumble is next up. Had the chicken coup and ummm.... horrible!
    The taste was like a sweet and sour chicken with a 9volt battery on your younger. The taste lingered for several minutes. All the others I liked and will definitely buy when I get down to New Orleans!

    Brut style is based off champagne
    Its supposed to be.
    They have grown on me a little. But I still like the regular west cost style.

    My mother often said.... "You'll have to kiss a lot of frogs...."
    I have certainly done that at some of the fests with "experimentals". One of my most memorable was when NOLA brewing did a version of their MegaHopzilla and put 3 dry hop pods on the tap line. If you are an IPA head... this might have been heaven... for me it was AWFUL. Of course there are Trappist spiced varieties that rival cough medicine as well.

    Speaking of... beer. I just got some NOLA: Prytania (Imperial Porter) and Abita: Mardi Gras (Bock)
