    I can assure you the first one was not. I poured maybe 2 fingers worth and then all foam after. Optimistically hoped it was over carbed. Grabbed second glass, same thing. Tried a sip. Straight In to the sink with the rest of it.

    The double is pretty good though. Little too malty for me but still drinkable. I need a Westie restock. I only got high abv stouts left at this point

    I hate when that happens. I’ve only had the sink happen to two beers since being back home, and only one at a restaurant that I couldn’t do (Stone Xocoveza).

    They’re releasing a lager this weekend at DG and they have 160 (!!!) cases on hand. I suspect it’ll still be available next month. Ugh.

    I’m excited that they’re gonna be tapping new stout kegs for the event that they’re not canning. Selling single half pours and that’s it. Should be around for a bit.

    I soaked them in vodka for an hour or so before putting them in. I've had these chips for ages, I used them in a BBA stout when i first started, soaked in some makers. I put WAAAAAAAY too much in on that one, tasted like sucking on a whiskey barrel stave. I only put in like 5-6 little cubes on this one. That beer started bleeding out of the airlock yesterday and i had to clean it up. Fermentation really took off.

    But have you had Death by Coconut?

    Looks fine to me....I think you just don't understand hazys

    When it foams out when I open the can, and when I pour a fingers worth and it turns in to the rest of the glass of foam and it tastes sour and is not a sour ipa, I think it’s infected :smack:
