Going to be in Denver for 2 days at the end of August before we drive out to Jackson WY for a wedding.

Think we’re going to be in the River North area fri and sat night. Looking for some recommendations on breweries, restaurants, and any other must sees while we’re there.

Been doing some Googling and there are sooooo many options and they all seem to get really good reviews. Thinking about Cerebral, Epic, and Divide but def open to options. We are also planning on stopping by WeldWerks on our way out of town.

I’m a BA stout and haze fan and the GF likes her sours.

    Any input would be appreciated!

Crooked stave and the New Belgium spot are next to each other and pretty decent, epic has a range of options that are good, I've had a few others there on the RiNo area and they all just blend together. Nothing stands out. First draft is cool for a pay by the ounce place. I'm not a huge divide fan so I don't usually stop in after I checked out the new spot out there a few years ago.

If you like German style lagers, Bierstadt Brewing is in RiNo and has some great offerings, as well as good food and a nice taproom. They share the taproom with C-Squared Ciders, which also has some good stuff.

My magic 8-ball says the forecast looks Cloudy with a whole lot of Haze...

    On that note...
Company I worked for had a very expensive and highly specialized piece of equipment called a turbidity reduction device... we just referred to it as the TURD.

Pretty sure it was a 2nd Gen TURD... Improvements were clearly needed. I do recall it caused us to drink heavily. :D

So I’m up in rush hour traffic and get a call. I left my skids off to change fluids yesterday and had them leaned against the garage wall. Stacked against a box I’ll love tap sometimes because my truck is a little big for the garage, but her Outback can whip in and out no issue.

She drove into the damn skid and knocked it into her car, and blamed it on me. Hah. Good thing I have fresh beer.

Not a whole lot happing in her immediate area. Three Heads in the city is always a good time. There are some serious mind blowing breweries in Avon and East Bloomfield - Mortalis and Other Half respectfully. Rising storm in Avon is really good too. They're about 25-30 mins or so from her area.

In stores it's kinda hit or miss. Genesee Lemon Strawberry Cream Ale is really good. So is their Ruby Red Kolsch if you can find it. Stop in Wegmans and look at their Fresh or Trending case for some of the newest craft stuff.

If you're driving and passing near Auburn I highly fucking recommend Prison city for both the beer and food!
