    Tried using some caramel malt, 1/2#... not a fan. I’ll stick to 2-row and sometimes acidulated.

    Still pretty good but I don’t like the residual sweetness.

    Also tried dry hopping in the keg with pellet hops. Have had good luck with whole leaf but didn’t have any on hand. Pretty good but I need to pull them before it gets grassy.

    Adriot Theory, Solace, Ocelot, Bluejacket are in the DC area.

    If she has a free day or afternoon I highly recommend her going south to Richmond. Richmond may be one of my favorite beer towns I've been too. They've got Veil, Answer, Triple Crossing, and Hardywood which I would put any of them above the ones in DC area.
