    That’s a good read. Unfortunately, I have to really step my packaging game up before I can even attempt a hazy. They do not stand up well to bottling and I don’t have any sort of kegging system yet.

    The NEIPA juicy or hazy or whatever thread on HBT is solid. I made it for a party awhile back and it was fantastic. Definitely best for kegging. Sadly, it just doesnt make sense to make it for myself, even on a half batch scale if I could. Still interested in trying that yeast for a regular IPA or something though.

    I am actually very interested in the Blasphemy No Boil NEIPA. Wheat dme, turbinado sugar, cacl, and yeast. Only hopping done is through dry hop. I’m thinking about picking up a mini keg just so I can try it. The recipe has great reviews and I’m sure it can’t be any worse than any of the mediocre hazies you might buy at a store.

    My next brew is going to be a Nitro Milkshake Peach Hazy IPA using my Heady-harvested Conan with Citra, El Dorado, and Mosaic. Will probably thrown in a very small bittering charge of something (Cascade maybe?) early in the boil, but all the good hops will be whirlpool and dry hop only.

    Every brown ale i've ever made just never turned out well. Thinking about it though, i liked the yeast profile of the s-33 I used for my belgian blonde, kind of want to try a belgian dubbel now... Style has really grown on me since visiting Europe.

    Lead Free Gasoline
    Skip the bittering addition and add it to the flameout. I starting doing that a few years ago and haven’t looked back.

    Actually the only hop additions I do for hoppy beer is flameout and whirlpool. A much smoother bitterness IMO.

    Only time I do a bittering hop addition now is if it’s a non-hoppy beer. Like cream ale or a stout.
