    In Brugge, Belgium the last three days. Favorite thus far is Bourgogne de Flanders, a Flemish red, followed by Bruges Zot. Of course the usuals like Chimay, Leffe, Gouldendraak, Maredsous, St. Bernardus, Duchesse de Bourgogne and Delerium Tremens have been had. I am a big fan of the Flemish reds, sour, malty and complex.

    It’s definitely worth the the 13 bucks for the 6 pack. But it’s not a beer that overly stands out to me. It’s quite tame with a good burbon smell and flavor while remaining light and not overly syrupy compared to some other barrel aged stouts. If you can find it without too much hassle I’d say it’s worth trying.

    So I got rid of the truck for a 19 GTI because it’s cheaper, faster, and more economical. Made our maiden voyage to Pittsburgh for beer.

    34mpg vs 14mpg on the highway. It’s gonna pay for beer for me.
