    It's pretty good. Went down was too easy. Not bad for an East Cost attempt at a West Coast IPA.

    Also middle of Feb Russian River Brewery releases Pliny the Younger Triple West Coast IPA a must if you like a great West Coast style bite ... to spots to try don’t have to wait three hours in line downtown ... new Windsor location works

    Ugh. Day two of truck maintenance. I did get done about 1030 last night. Even though I’ve not been drinking during the week, I enjoyed one of my Pale Ales yesterday. The color actually darkened a bit in the bottle. Next time I brew this up I am going to mess around with the hops, but this Cascade only version is very very tasty.

    SMASH beers (Single Malt and Single Hop) are really good beers to learn hops and grains. My newbie buddie made a Maris Otter/Citra that was honestly one of the best homebrew beers i've ever had
