lol. It IS a style that is very easy to mess up, but most are pretty good. My home brewed version has kind of ruined commercial examples for me now.

I actually have a spare 240v 50 amp circuit from the PO’s hot tub that no longer exists. I’ve been looking at the Unibrau eBIAB system. It says that you can put 20 lbs of grains in it which would allow for anything but the strongest imperial stouts which I’m not super interested in anything over 8-10%.

That's not bad, but has a few things I'm not as hot on, for one being the pump and how it attaches, the way the grain basket only drains out the bottom and the heating element size and type.

For a little more I like the clawhammer one more:
    https://www.clawhammersupply.com/products/electric-home-brewing-system-240v-biab

Or...the system I have from High Gravity:

    https://www.highgravitybrew.com/sto...c-Wort-Hog-5-10-Gallon-BIAB-240V-445p3987.htm

I really love mine, makes brewing so much simpler and enjoyable. I think it spends the money where it really matters, to get the most for your money.

Agreed. It's amazing they can do a lot of stuff so well but the most popular style of beer right now (IPAs or Hazy IPAs) they just suck at.

@relkins0413 FWIW, when I was talkin with Chris last year about getting a eBIAB setup, I was going to either to the Clawhammer or the High Gravity. Did a decent amount of research on them, and I almost was going to buy the Clawhammer kit, but then bought other, stupid shit instead and now I still don't have a homebrew setup.

Went on a big group mtn bike ride. I’m not sure what the official count was, but I’d guess 40-50 people. At one of the breaks, they were handing these out.

LOL, that story is pretty messed up. I saw that the tap room is closed. I’m curious to see what happens to them through this.

I’ve missed this entire story, I’ll need to google this. Founders KBS, CBS and Breakfast Stout are on my favorites list.
