My dad collected steins for a while. Need to dig them out of the basement. He’s got some gems buried down there amongst all the other shit he never threw away.

Honestly .. I love bud. It’s a guilty pleasure. I prefer drinking a good craft beer any day of the week, but I have no problem with it in lieu of other choices.

    Cheers

Never want to rebuttal a beer opinion but...

We all have different tastes and there are a million great beers out there
In the Pliny/Russian River Brewery defense...
To experience the taste of a Pliny you must drink it fresh, it has a short shelf life, always refrigerate and from the source even better. Oh and I'm still a big fan of a glass bottled beer..
Pliny has been voted top honors for a DIPA many years, also RRB does many other great beers/sours all highly rated.
They also limit there distribution which does lead to a lot of hype and sort of a cult following.
If anyone can make it to the Santa Rosa/Windsor facilities I do believe you will enjoy all they have to offer and meet peeps from all over the world that want to clink a few together and BS (especially Feb 7th during Pliny the Younger release)

Ps I don't work for them and I enjoy the food much better downtown at the Santa Rosa Brewery.. Pizza Bites !!!

    Cheers
    Steinbeck

They did 4 packs this year (around $22 a pack in my area). Happy they did too, because a 750ML is hard to drink solo.

Zombie Dust on this Sunday night. This beer is very close to the last pale ale I brewed. Soft bitterness with high hop flavor and aroma. I think that this beer is made with only Citra where I used Cascade. This is a fine drinking beer.

It’s a golf course. My options are limited. It was either this or a Big Wave. Hadn’t tried this one so figured fuck it. That’ll teach me to not bring my own beer.

Yep, gotta say this is going to be a Holiday classic. It's like someone brewed a tart fruit cake that turned out really good.

Yeah, supposed to be all Citra. Here's a recipe if you're interested. I think I tried it once, I forget...
