    Nothing special, just a 1.060 American Stout with Centennial.

    Not really tasting any of the strawberries or vanilla extract. Suppose to be a milkshake ipa. Kinda dank and piney for my liking.

    edit: the strawberry slightly came in 1/2 way through.

    That’s kinda what I was expecting. It’s suppose to have lactose in it.

    Hopped on over to DSSOLVR in AVL, story behind this place is the head brewer from Burial had disagreements on where Burial was headed so he just opened this place. My first taste is their ipa “Born in the juicy” brewed with contra crystal & mosaic hops. Piney and citrusy.

    Pineapple right up front. Finishes of with a slightly smoother coconut finish.

    Omnipollo Hypnopompa. I don’t know what’s going on but I think I am losing my taste for the big stouts. This is certainly good, but I’m just not enjoying as I should.

    I am finally trying mine. The alcohol definitely mellowed from the time I made it. But, it seems thin to me. I’m not sure if I missed a step or if that’s just how it’s supposed to be.
