    Just left Modern Times Carnival of Caffeination. Another excellent beer festival. Standouts includes Horus, Other Half, and Tired Hands. Lots of great coffee as well. Can’t wait for next year!

    And now some home brew porter in which I added 2# of brown sugar to a recipe I got online. Took awhile to come into its own. Also color is off... pretty good! Thin though and I blame the sugar.

    It’s all about the event and experience... pure people loving good beer and meeting people that Love the fun .. it still tops the list of great beers and they have much more to offer...there might be a reason for the waiting in lines

    not a expert but love the clean west coast imperial IPA
    Waited much longer for bad concert unfortunately

    Waiting 8 hours for sugar water is mind boggling. Waiting an hour in line for sugar water is just as ridiculous. At the end of the day it’s beer. Nothing more. It’s a good beer, sure. But I would never in my life wait in a line for any beer. I didn’t even wait in lines at the beer fest today for all these “hype” breweries because there was beer just as good, If not better one booth over with no line. If you want to go wait in line and call it an experience, more power to you. I think it’s just silly.
