    supporting local!
    Great stuff.

Question: Anyone 33 or old still able to get hammered one night and be ultra productive the next day?

I mean, I've been getting a good buzz a few nights a week and still getting things done the next day, but I wouldn't say hammered. The kid has put a damper on that. Last time was new years and I was dead to the world the next day haha

I honestly expected this to be a hazy. Nice little surprise there, but not as bitter as I like in a non-hazy

So I’m sort of like, I know things will eventually get better but part of me is also like yolo so I wanted a beer to remember tonight.

I didn’t open a 12, but this is the best Dubbel I’ve ever had. I promise I’m not just giving in to the hype. This is smooth and has plum and raisin for days. I don’t know how a 12 can possibly be better.

It is. Just drink it. It's not life changing, but like you said, YOLO. What occasion are you waiting for? It's a 12oz, not like you're going to share it with everyone.

Sampled my newly kegged Amarillo-Simcoe Pale and I swear I had it once and the combo was like rainbow sherbert. This time, more dank and green.

Also this Bruery cellar filler i tried to drink through but it wasnt working. Just not the right flavors....

    You're right.

My only complaint now is that I don’t have more 8s and now Belgian Mart is shut down due to the pandemic.

I’m saving my 12s for comparison sake once I get a clone brewed. My Single is fermenting happily away at 75f right now and that will make a nice yeast cake for my clone 12.

I just had one of my Dubbels. Doesn't compare, but it scratches the Belgian itch.

My first home brewed dubbel is unfortunately sitting on cherries right now for a few more weeks. I am practicing for a Christmas beer trade on Homebrewtalk.com.

I did take a sample before racking to the cherries and it was very promising, although a little more dry than I was expecting, finishing at 1.008. I will be brewing another again soon to bottle and let sit until winter.
