I hope you’re not disappointed, but I doubt you will be.

Did you find the Lyle’s Golden Syrup? I’ve been looking in to cooking up my own invert sugar as that and the Belgian Candi Syrup is expensive.

It's pretty good! It's by Martin House. They've been putting out a pickle series this year (regular pickle, spicy pickle, barrel aged pickle). The regular pickle one was like drinking pickle juice straight out of the jar. Not for everyone but I liked it. The spicy pickle one is like the original with a good amount of burn on the back end. Haven't had the barrel aged pickle but I'm curious. If you like pickles, you'd love it.

My wife is getting our home bar set up... I recently bought a beverage cooler and a wine cooler and she loaded the beer cooler up with some of the beer I have bought lately. We are going to get a live edge maple slab to go over top of both the coolers that will match our table we have in our basement and then put some floating shelves above it. It will be nice when it's done but at least my beer is cold for whenever I make it home!

Afternoon beer. It's kind of ridiculously tart, even for me, and also had an odd taste on the back end. I ended up dumping the last half a glass and moved on to a bottle of my new IPA I bottled off the tap.

Tasting a lot better. It'll be drank before @uhplifted ever gets to try it

    That's not even a 1/3 :anonymous:

My wife spends time a lot of time at her parents house when I am away so she probably has another 3 cases at her parents house of random stuff. Mainly Aslin Brewery in Northern VA. Then my dad lives in PA and even before the COVID crisis, several breweries there delivered. I have 6 different 4 packs from Levante Brewing at his house waiting for me too!
