    Untappd is a beer rating app. I use it to get a general idea on how people like something before I get some of it. It's definitely not perfect, but it gives me an idea. These beers were all rated like 4.25/5, which in my book, is really good.

    I find people really overrate hazy's on untappd, way to many people have never really had a good one and they all rate them higher since they don't have the bitterness of a west coast.

    Yeah, any jaggof can go in there and over-rate things. For me, 3.5/5 is "drinkable, would buy again". 4 is "would seek this out", and 4.25-4.25 is a varying level of "damn, gimme more". I think i've given like 1-2 beers a 5. Tons of people go on there and rate everything drinkable a 4.5. I stopped using it too much anymore, and this selection of beers is a reminder why haha

    I have a friend that rates anything local 4.75 at least just because. I get people have different tastes, but there needs to be an aptitude test.

    My rating system is pretty similar, I think I have less than 10 5's in almost 4k check-ins. I don't look much into what the overall ratings are I will look at certain friends if they've had it, mostly just look to see if its new to me.
