    Taste-wise they are all over the place. I've had some that were great and some that I've had to pour out. I usually buy those as singles unless it's one that I've had and know that I like.

    I'd say they've been around for a bunch of years, but have gotten more popular in the last couple of years.

    Hudson Valley Brewery in New York is one of the breweries known for sour IPAs. I'm not sure how tough it is to get their beers if you aren't in NY.
