    Courtesy of a local brewer, Tinhouse...love having a grog joint in my own community.

    It is a five minute walk from our local Costco where, because this is British Columbia (a place where the liquor laws have not been updated since we violated Prohibition) they do not sell alcohol.....park the car, send the boss on her way, and.....a perfect afternoon; we actually had sunshine and 13 degrees C today.....she can buy all the Purex wipes and kitten toilet paper she wants (so much for COVID shortages!)

    Swingbridge is a tribute to the (really, really) old swing bridge over the Pitt River (separates POrt COquitlam from the ruffians in Pitt Meadows) built to accommodate ships heading up to Pitt Lake for the whitefish fishery.....

    Amazing Porter...loads of chocolate....and that 6.5 sneaks up on ya....
