    Houston, we have a problem…
    Outbound packages to my winners took a turn.
    There’s bad news… (and good news).

    When I went to unload the packages at the post office, I noticed a decent amount of fluids pooled in my floor mat. I abandoned the shipping and when I returned home began attempting to determine what happened. I had a wet/soft bottom on #1 and #2 below it was also saturated.

    Upon opening #1 it was obvious who the culprit was.

    I hoped #2 was just #1 leaking on it, but nope…. This same variety was just unwilling to travel. It peaked and had a small split where the metal flexed in the expansion. Essentially pressure washing the rest of the package. I must now disassemble the packages and dry and clean to return to shipping.

    The good news? It smells frigin’ AWESOME. Thank goodness I have more (for me). I had also included a few recent additions from a meetup for my recipients, so the loss while sad won’t be completely heartbreaking. I will say this is a first experience for me. I’ve seen swollen cans, but not completely blowing out. It seems the cans are getting thinner.

    oh yea, it appears the others are undamaged… just beer soaked.
