    The issue is only that it’s an alcoholic seltzer, which isn’t even a malted distillation (except maybe rice on occasion). Which makes it more akin to a cocktail. Usually a distillation of sugars with flavors.

    Bourbon Barrel Aged Pumpkinator is brewed right here in Houston. It used to be the highest ranked pumpkin beer on BeerAdvocate, but has been knocked to #5 by some other contenders. #1 is currently held by Picture If You Will from Bottle Logic Brewing in California, which I haven't seen here in TX. Now that I've had this, I'm ready to crawl into bed.
